Hemi v/s Maxima
So last night, I had to pick my truck up with my brother so I could drop it with the body shop for the morning. We we're over at our parent's house and managed to coax our mom into letting us take out her '07 Nissan Maxima to make the late night ride interesting. She just bought it about two months ago (this inspired me to buy the new Ram), and has 14K miles on it. I'm personally not a car guy, but we knew this car has some bite. It has the 3.5L v6 with 255 h/p, not too bad. Anyways, after got my truck, we managed to get a red light side by side. When the light turned green, I punched it. For some reason my brother didn't floor it at first because he thought he could catch up to me and pass, but it never did. When my truck shifted into second gear at around 50mph it just kept going and I could see the HIDs of the Maxima about a car length behind me the entire time up to about 100mph. Then we both had to slow down drastically to pull into the body shop. Regardless if he did or didn't punch it full throttle at first, the fact my full size truck held that stealthy little car off that long was incredible! I sure love these trucks, they are special. It wasn't the smartest race, but we had to clear the water lol.
I took out a late 90s Maxima driven by a pizza delivery guy. I steadily pulled by him from a stop till maybe 60 when I put my door at his front bumper. He looked pretty surprised
I've run the truck at the track -- I know it's no speed demon. It isn't too bad though!

I had my friends Rx8 all day saturday (he needed the truck). I wasn't very impressed. It would kick my *** in the turns, but straight line it'd be closer than I had previously expected.
It's been my experience that MOST (not all) people who have those cars have not clue one how to drive them. Guy I used to be stationed with got a new 350Z bout the same time I got my truck. Apparently (contrary to his claim) stick shift was not his thing, at least to try and go fast. And that was when my truck was bone stock. Offering to show him how to drive it did not help his disposition at the time hehe
