This is exactly what I need! I bought my '04 last May and the guy I bought it from was a little heftier than me!
I feel like I'm sitting on the frame and since I'll be starting my trips to NH and VT snowmobiling soon, I'll be doing this either this weekend or next!

My 2008 has had this exact problem and Has caused my sciatic nerve damage. This is actually a serious problem.

Awesome info!! I'm going to do this asap to mine. My only prob is that my cover is actually torn too. Any suggestions or possibly a good parts dealer anyone? I think Mopar is around 160.

nice info and write up. My seat kills my hip, worst dodge seat ever. Mine is not torn but I'm going to do this procedure just hoping for more comfort. thanks!

Too late. I already read what you originally posted and understand where youre coming from but thank you for already editing your post. Sometimes being the bigger person is a good thing.

great write up. Now, any ideas on how what to do with the hole in the seat fabric that was caused by waiting to long to repair the foam cushion.

Thank you for posting this. I have my replacement seat fabric now from mopar parts on line and this will be the 3rd time foam and fabric will be replaced, as warenty repair did not last 3 years.
