Great write-up. Does anyone have an issue with the back support. My seat covers are fine, but the back support has a ridge of metal that jabs me in the ribs. I can feel it through the cloth.

I have the 6 way electronic adjustment and the screw lumbar support?

This was definitely a great thing. I followed some of the directions and changed some other. I used alot more burlap over the existing foam as mine was pretty bad compared to his pics, with several more rips and tears. I added 2" over the whole bottom of the cushion

What a difference. I sit about an inch higher, which isnt bad, but can no longer feel all that metal underneath.

Thanks for the write-up and all the great info.

I have questions, do i have to remove the seat bolts and get the seat out, or do I take off the 8 bolts that hold the seat to the track? or do I have to remove the seat?

The fabric locks into place and is soo easy to remove ( have to take off seat adjust ment ****)

I now have the parts to fix this, it looks easy to do,
