How do you remove front plastic piece (tow hooks)
Hey guys how do you remove that front piece? i tried unscrewing those screws on the top but it didnt do anything. the black piece above the license plate is what i talking about
my misfortune can help others
got in a front end collision a few weeks back so i removed my entire bumper. that piece was 10 dif kinds of messed up, but from what it seemed, on the top edge (mine is recessed back, im assuming urs is as well) there is four round plastic plugs with smaller plugs going into the middle. pop the center of those out, and the plugs should come right out. then if you pop the hood and reach down there, on the bottom edge its just little tabs that clip over the bumper portion and you push on those and it should pop off.
hope that helped

When I installed my Dixie Horn, I had spent some time underneath the front portion of the truck. I was able to get a good look at this piece because I too like the idea of putting tow hooks there. From what I saw, I think there were a few screws/clips that held it on, it should be pretty easy to remove. But it may be a different story if you have the non-sport package
ok these things are the biotch to get out. from behind the bumper there are those plugs do i just push those down? i dont want to break them off

You break them and go to the parts counter to pay crazy money for little plastic screws to put the piece back on. Or you do what I did when I installed my grill guard and take a dremmel or roto tool and notch for what you are going to put in there...
