How come you can see all the orange on the "close up" shots but then when he shows the engine bay there's no hint of the orange?

Regardless of anything else, that IS a 6.1 block.

Because he didn't paint the heads, they're still bare aluminum.

Look down by the lower pully and you can see the orange on the block.
