I'd love to have a black truck, but its my daily driver. On top of that, the only way I'd ever paint a vehicle would be to strip the whole thing apart. I hate pained vehicles where you can find the original color still somewhere on them

Yea all the chrome will eventually be gone. When i purchased the roll pan i had also bought a new front bumper but it was on back order. They changed shipping dates on me 4 times so i canceled it. In about two week the only chrome will be the front bumper and the antenna. I'll get around to buying a front sport bumper, then the truck should look a lot better w/o the chrome.

Here's a pic of the truck pretty much stock with a few mods.

The clamps are a ***** to get off I had to use a torch and then hammer in a screwdriver all the way around to get it loose. The truck looks great! Where did you get your headlights?

I painted them myself and they were a PITA. I had them off my truck for 3 days. Getting them apart and putting them back together isn't easy. If i were to do it over I'd just buy new ones. I'm just glad i used enough silicone and liquid gasket when i put them back together. They don't fog or get water in them

It won't let me paste the link to the "how to" because its on D*O*D*G*E Talk, but if you want i can email it to you.

Brother I don't know about your shackles. We are set up pretty close and the rear of my truck is much lower. I'm going to remove the helper spring and I'm sure the truck will be dead level. I saw a picture of a SWB red ram with a black strip like yours but he had painted the entire rear section from the strip back black Sorta like he had dipped the truck in paint. looked sharp. I spoke to my dodge parts man and he told me that the chrome grill will not take paint. I asked after my body shop told me they were not sure they could paint my chrome grill. I was thinking maybe paint the grill and hood black along with the rear section. It would be a different look and of course the dodge ram looks good no matter how you paint it. Just rambling ot loud.
The pan looks good.

Gotta paint the roll pan. Just doesnt flow being black. Just curious why you got rid of the side amber but kept the bottom one.
