I am not a big fan of the stick on ones either, but sometimes the budget just don't allow for a whole new hood with functional Ram air.
I went the same route as Bear, but for a reason. I had a good size limb crash down on my hood while out hunting on a day with 40 mph winds. I popped out 90% of the dent when the last 2" buckled the other way on me. Dented out and flecked off a good size hunk of paint. My scoop is a "band aide mod", totally hid the boo-boo till my finances allow me to replace the entire hood with a nice functional one...

but with work like it is right now for me I didn't see that happening anytime soon so the Rumble Bee scoop was my next choice. It was a GREAT improvement over the dinky one that was on it when I got the truck. I included before and after pics for those not familiar with it. BEFORE
