Default Jet chip

Hello to all,

I am looking to buy a jet stage 2 chip and I was wondering if anybody has had any luck with them and also if you have to change the thermostat to a 180? Also I was reading on a different forum that changing the fuel injectors would increase my h/p a little, any help would be great. I have Dodge 3.7 v6 with a Magnaflow cat back and a cold air intake and a trans go shift kit. Please help.

Thank you for the fast reply, do you notice a better throttle response and firmer trans. shifts? Alao what kind of injectors doe you have and where can I get them.also what about e3 plugs

I am happy w/ my stage 1 chip, and since it's the only option for the v6 it's worth a shot. I don't think those e3 plugs will do anything for you and the injectors are probably gonna need some custom tuning to see any benefit, otherwise you will just be dumping more fuel in and not necessarily making more power. I thought Twink said he had to do some tuning on his to get everything running right with the injectors. The T-stat change is a quick, easy, and cheap change so there is no reason not to do it, but like Twink said he and derrick have stage 2 chips and no 180 t-stat so it's up to you.

except i run at 1/8" below the temp line even mid summer...so dropping to a small tstat means truck would never even get close to proper operating temp.

and yea, the stage 2 made hell of a difference. throttle response (yes...especially [only?] in low end..but i'm also running 456 gears...so maybe that's why i really only notice it in low end). firmer shifting? not really.

Yeah derrick I guess it depends on your climate and if you plan on doing an e-fan.
