Please inform me how to turn off that bothersome dinger??

Or you can use one of these and put it on the two wires on the seatbelt and it till make it look like it is latched and no more chime from it.

look in your manual, it explains how to disable the dinger. After yuo disable it, the light in the dash should remain on as a reminder, you get used to seeing it after awhile and youll end up ingnoring it. That is the very first "mod" i ever did to my truck, i did it the day after i bought it, never had it ding since.

I went the owners manual route. i also changed my door locks so they all unlock with one push instead of double pulse. I changed my headlight parking delay and the door locks locking at 15mph was disabled. There's quite a few things you can change or disable. You need to look under Door Locks section of the manual.

Wow, the manual tells you how to disable it? It would be handy. I am out in the country and drive around the field and do not need a seatbelt on. But that dang dinger is bothersome....

Its faster to squeeze that clip on it than get the manual, read it, understand it and go through the process of disabling it.
