where is the muffler at, under the cab or in the stock location. how is it setup. if you just move the magnaflow back you might like it.

Default Pypes Race Pro muffler

I bought an '03 Hemi about 6 weeks ago that had a 40 series flowmaster dumped in front of rear axle. After driving the truck 3 times, I had to change that thing out. I bought a Pypes Race Pro 3" because it outflows the previous muffler and does not have the drone either. I also painted rubberized undercoating on the underbody from the back of the bed up to say the rear of the fenders. These (2) processes have made the truck much more enjoyable to drive, idle is really quiet, you get a healthy sound up through 2500 rpm which is where I usually run at. At full throttle it roars.

Good luck.

This is my FM 50 SI/DO I like it but I don't know what your magnaflow sounds like either. I will try to post up a vid of it under tow if I get a few minutes.

Thanks for the vid. If you get one under tow I'd like to hear it.

That one actually sounds about as load as mine but it has a better tone.

Last week i ordered some new goodies for my truck. Like you, i wanted a nice rumble but not obnoxious. I was stuck between a FM 40 and 50 series. I was told the 40 series should be a nice rumble and still quiet in the cab. So its what i bought, hopefully i like when it gets here.

Here are a couple choices if you want quiet.
A good friend of mine has seen the Walkers on several 500hp mustangs and says their great if you want quiet horsepower.

I have flowmaster 40 delta. My parents said its too loud inside the cab but my dad just plugs his ear and drive. My flowmaster is at stock location of where the big *** muffler located.

If you can take the drone inside the cab then get the flowmaster but if you cant then get something much mellow like magnaflow.

The flowmaster 50 hd is perfect for HEMI powered trucks, it is quiet at idle and sounds awesome at wide open throttle and mellow at all points between. If the resinator has been removed, it will be quite a bit louder. The resinator does exactly what the name implies, it cancels cab resonance. If yours has been removed, check local muffler shops a pull off, and re install. It will quiet your Magnaflow and eliminate cab resonance. It is after the muffler, so it will not negitively impact exhaust flow.
