Headers and Y pipe = Check engine light?
Any clue where i can pick up the correct non fouler for it? I went to murrays today and they only had a 14mm one which wasnt big enough becuase i had them get the O2 sensor out and when i tried screwing it in, the actually sensor end wouldnt even go in. Anyone know the correct size to get for an 03 ram after cat o2 sensor?
The truck sounds great with long tubes
I'll have to make my way to autozone or napa tomorrow and see what if they have them, I'll make sure to drill them out AFhemi, i saw that earlier, is it difficult to drill them out?

the ones i sell are made by motormite the part number is a 42009 and put this in and screw your o2 sensor into it, all it is doing is taking it out of stream of the gas flow, should be ok after that, remember to use permatex anti-seizing compound for easy removal later
So i got around to drilling out the non-fouler and i installed it on the back o2 sensor which would have been after the cat if i still had it..i disconnected the battery to clear the code and after about a day or two when i started my truck, i noticed the check engine light was back on
Any ideas on why? Also i read on here about a 180 thermostat...can someone give me some information on that as well and what it'll do for me?
nope, and I've only seen the non-fouler trick not work maybe 2 or 3 times of the couple of dozen guys I know or have talked to that have done it. Putting some steel wool inside the fouler all around the sensor worked for them, except one guy, who had an exhaust leak also.
Like you can't see the blinding annoying orange light on the dash and that you need them to tell you it's on. Or better yet, ask you you if you know that it's on. Totally freakin annoying..lol
Actually, I did the true dual thing in my '98 Dodge RCSB 5.9 4x4 and didn't know about non-foulers for about two years after I did it. I just stuck a business card in front of the steering wheel to cover the CEL...
it is possible that by replacing the headers to some that flow more that the 02 sensors were no longeer able to compensate for the additional flow of gasses. it could be coincidence that they went out the same time, i have seen things like this happen before. 02 sensors get lazy over time and the ecu compensates for a portion of it until it can not anymore then flags the cel. have you had the code read yet? i have not seen a p code or a c code of anybodys mention to tell us what it is? then we can narrow it down from the actual cel code
