I don't know what it is about the 5.9 magnum engines but they always sound mean with any kind of an exhaust on them, much meaner than the hemi's do.

 

I always thought the same thing. The only thing I can think of is that design of the Magnum engines is basically, what 30 years old, and the Hemi is more of a modern design. Well, as modern as you can get with an ohv pushrod engine.
