If you are worried about cooling get an Efan, two small lights won't block airflow buddy

matt is just referring to the clutched fan on our trucks. the fan can only turn as fast as the engine, so standing in traffic idling can mess you up. you never hear of cooling problems when you're cruising, which is when the lights would block airflow, but they won't make nearly enough of an affect to cause heating.

 

Hella 500's are the direct beam type and the Hella 500ff's are the free form light - it spreads out more. Most have the regular Hella 500's.

 

haha Im sorry section moderator. I think there was one too many ? up there so I had to slip that in lol I have been thinking about doing the hella mod, does everyone get hellas because they are cheap? because I had KCs on my old truck and loved them

 

I'm currently using the KC Titanium Slimlites with the 130 watt long range bulb but I certainly agree that the Hella's are great too; in fact what I really would like to try are the Hella Rallye 4000 HID's behind the grille (IF THEY WOULD FIT???). I think this would solve all of the poor lighting problems with the Ram - but they are far too expensive to try without knowing for certain. If any of you sports car guys or rallye types know anything about the Hella's I've mentioned please inform all of us.
