Like it says guys, don't hate me for posting about a ford, but I want some of you truck fanatic's opinions...

Yesterday my brother finally finished his three month long truck restoration project on his 1995 Ford F-350 with the 7.5L v8, and in doing so, topped it off with the 35" Toyo Open Country A/T tires with his black powdercoated rims. Like me, my twin brother is an absolute perfectionist, and we are very hard to please. The minute we saw the truck we were shocked, and weren't crazy about it. He thinks the black wheels make the truck look dumpy. I think it looks mean, but he's freaking out. He plans to do the 4.56 gearing within a month or so. What do you guys think?

 

To be 100% honest with you, I don't like it and that shocked me bc I usually love a blacked out truck. IMHO, I think that problem is that he blacked out an older truck that just doesn't have the lines to look good when blacked out.

i like it... its kinda like night rider but a truck and doesent have a hairy chested mad drivin it bitchen about turbo boost.

 

I understand what you mean about the lines, it doesn't have the curves of today's trucks. Actually, this truck used to be all chromed out, but then he went on a black rampage and has managed to make everything black except the door handles lol. It's kind of a 50/50 split with its fans. I mean, plently of people around town love the truck, you wouldn't believe the weirdos that come limping out of nowhere when we're out in public lmao. I love how it has that big routy 460 big block though, so damn mean. There are some things I don't like about it too, but the front end is by far my favorite. Here are some pictures from now and the past. It's crazy how many different looks and restorations its gone through.

In it's beginnings chrome stages in the summer of 2006, what is the deal with red?!

In it's prime chrome state with little engine work done.

Chromed out with headers, true dual exhaust, k&n intake, lumpy cam etc...but everyone said it NEEDED lift and bigger tires lol..

i think it looks good just maybe drop the rear alittle bit. seems higher

 

Looks good...if that big block is anything like chevys early 90's 454 it makes good torque but very low hp. Does it move pretty good with his mods?

 

I liked it best as it was in July 2006. Thats just what I like.

 

I think you should chrome out!
