37" tire suggestions
Uh, did I miss something? What's wrong with my 36s on 24s? I made sure everything fit before I bought anything and planned everything out a long time ago. And I have no issues. I don't need 8-10 of sidewall as my truck doesn't see the mud. Everyone keeps saying 37s are too much but 36s would be pushing it but doable and that's what I got. Hammer, you don't like my rims? Now my feelings are hurt........
You are also in a lot better position to run tires over 35" as you have no CVs.
Nope Weed, this was not aimed at you, I got the one who I aimed at...

the tires will fit on the rims just fine, but not on the truck without hitting. It's the steering components you'll hit without the proper backspacing in the wheel.
Yes 35's will fit with just a level, but there ain't much room for any flex or articulation over bumps or off-roading.
If it's pretty much for looks you'll be ok, (with a properly backspaced wheel of course), but if you plan on using your truck like a truck, you'll have issues.
It kinda sounds like you want 35s for the sake of having 35s but don't have the funds for a new wheels or a proper lift. If that's the case, keep your stock wheels, level the truck and get a good set of 33" tires. Your truck will be more functional.
I just looked back at your original post, you started off wanting 37's, did you think you were going to get 37s stuffed under there without a lift?

I was planning on a 3" body lift and maybe a suspension lift, but would rather spend the lift money on a boat. I will be getting a body lift but I need tires pretty soon and was going to maybe hold off on the body lift for a month or so, I do need the tires to not rub since this truck will see some light off road action and some mud. Was also trying to avoid having to buy rims, they are not cheap. Maybe I will get some black rock crawler wheels, I had them on my 4runner and really liked the look.
I had grand plans when I first got the truck, lift and 37s. But then after reading more on the 37's and the strain it puts on everything, just not something I want to deal with on a DD.
