So I think my new pickup has a 3:92 LSD differential, but Im not sure really, how do I tell, Im pretty sure its a 3:92, if it is a 3:92 does that mean that its limited slip, or did they come without the limited slip in the 3:92??? And whatever it is what is the best way for me to figure it out? thanks much!!

 

Check in the glove box, my truck has a sticker with all that info right on it.

 

I think thats where I saw the 3:92 info, but I couldnt see right before where it read 3:92 so I dont know if it said lsd or not

 

exactly what he said 2 posts up. I believe that it is possible to have the 3.92s without the LSD but it is very unlikely. As the others said; check your glovebox.

 

is anti-spin the same a lsd?? thats the way it says it on the tag in the glovebox

Get out of the grass or loose dirt and spin the tires. That also will tell you which you have.

 

Is the anti spin worth much? I have seen people here rag on it pretty bad. Whats bad about it?
