Default Truck Shuts Down

I have a friend that is concerned about his 05 Dodge 5.7 4X4 with aprox 40k miles. He said that twice it's shut down on him. Both times when slowing down to a stop. It started right up for him like nothing wrong. I have the same truck and couldn't think of anything. Anyone have ideas? Thanks for the help.

Could be lots of things it seems this is a pretty common problem on all cars lately - too many electronic compenents now days I guess. ECU, Fuel Pump, Alternator to name a few possibilities.

If he were to take it to an auto mech shop and do a diagnostic test, do you think it could possibly find the problem?

So he slows to a stop and it stalls out? Could be a number of small things. I agree on looking for CELs (Check Engine Lights)
