Time for a new housing at that point!...lmao No, just do like 3 or 4 small blobs of clear Epoxy. then if you ever had to take them off, you could whip out your little dremel tool and cut the epoxy and sand it down smooth to the housing.
Also, i was curious on your Foil for reflectance. Isn't the back of your housing Chrome enough for reflective light? or do you loose some light ouput because there is no actual backing, just side chrome?? Boy I ask the weirdest ?'s huh?....lol

No bro, you always make good points and bring up good questions. Originally I did do foil backing but later on I took it off as I noticed no difference in light output.

Well what got me started on this whole project was this link HERE.

As for parts list..........

soldering iron, flux and solder
4 clear rods needed (but get some extra incase you mess up)
12 LEDs and resistors (used 5mm LEDs)
heat shrink
22/24ga wire (I used solid wire)
dremel tool with circular blade (I use a diamond tipped blade)
drill with incremental bit from 1/8 to 13/64 (13/64 if youre using 5mm LEDs but only 1/8 if your using 3mm)

I had all my tools and wire already. All I needed to buy was my LEDs and rods.

The rods I got from Home Depot and are known as "replacement blinds wands". The are a FLAT hex shaped clear rod and 29in long. They are also about $2 each.

My LEDs I bought off ebay with resistors. Mine are 5mm 55k MCD LEDs. I bought a pack of 30 for about $12 shipped from China. I try not to buy from overseas but when Radio Shack wanted $3-5 per LED, well it just made more financial sense to buy from China.
