i know.. from being on here in the 2nd gen forum... theres thousands of posts about exhausts.. long story short..

im trading my 2nd gen.. for a 3rd gen 04.. hemi.. 5.7l crew cab.. 4x4. short bed.. k.. now the goodies.

i want a loud exhaust.. full system dont have the cash or time to mess around at a shop.. doing it myself.. i researched a little.. heres my findings

- slp dual exhaust

- cherry bomb vortex system

- bully exhaust system

- gibson dual exhaust (extreme style)

any info on any of these kits is greatly appreciated.. thanks ahead

cherrybomb extreme and the fm 10 are both single chamber mufflers so those are going to be the loudest that i know of less if you go cutouts

I paid $54 for a Cherry Bomb Extreme, and it was the 2nd best mod I've done to my truck. The best was the Hella 500s, but I digress.

if you dont have the money for a shop, hope you have the equipment to weld. cuz the clamp on exhausts, dont stay together.

if moneys not an issue, cherry bombs are always loud. ive heard the gibson extremes are also popular and loud. like the other guy said, youtube each one

The only negative thing I've heard about Gibson's exhaust is they rust out pretty quickly...

i have had a clap on exhaust for three years now with no problems. hasnt even moved. and its pretty much welded on there now. they stay together if you tighten the clamps right...

hmm yeah i heard the gibson.. sounds nice.. but like you said.. they rust.. ive heard that about their headers too... cherry bombs r loud.. but kind of tingy.. i want something loud.. but deep you know? its not my 2nd gen.. that i want to sound straight piped.. something.. deep.. roars.. like a hemi should.. i looked at this 04. used.. had one pipe.. out the side like the stock.. had a hugeeee round muffler.. and like a 3 or 4 inch tip.. looked like a diesel setup.. not sure.. but it sounded just like what i want.. i just cant find what the hell it is or what its called.. driving me nuts. ill post a link up for that bully one.. see if u guys recognize it.
