Found a nice chart on tranny temps and what happens to your fluid and transmission at different temps. It's interesting to see the expected life of the transmission when continuously running at different temperatures...

Very informative chart, makes me want to buy a temp gauge just to see how many miles my tranny is expected to last.

thanks for that chart hammer. mine is usually between 175-195 but that is when its stop and go traffic. cruising its around 150 or less

Whats all involved to add a tranny temp gauge, Luts say in a 2002 cumins and a 2004 hemi.
