my brother has a chevy with the duramax and programmer. we were driving side by side thru town. off the line i could get a lenght and a half, but when that damn turbo spooled up he would pass me. being i have a stock 4.7 i still felt it was a small victory getting such a big jump. i was driving alongside a navigator on a road here and from 45 to 90 i had no problem staying ahead of that big pig of a suv, but i hit the speed limiter and he just kept on going, apparently the have a huge top end...

 

The have way more torque. But they also weigh 7200+lbs.

 

they need that torque to move that big ugly thing.....

had it not been for the limiter i could have kept him behind me, i need a tuner that will eliminate that i suppose...

 

My diablo was set at 155 when it came in the mail. I didn't even bother bumping it up more because there's no way I ever think i'm going that fast....lol
I hit 100mph once. During break-in...hehehe it was on the highway for a brief moment. i just wanted to see how fast it would get there. I was curious and the highway was desolate....I had a grin needles to say.

We had a 3way going over the weekend between My hemi,a RCLB 2nd gen Cummins,and a Duramax. The Dmax was packing about 80 extra ponies and me and him were pretty close until we were both engulfed by a HUGE black cloud of Deisel smoke coming from the Cummins,we later found out he has over $3000 in the cummins engine. You would have thought we were tied to a stump the way he blew by us,Hemis are good but Cummins like that are no joke! At least it was another Dodge that whipped me,lol

 

A guy at work got the same truck back in march, 2500 with the 6.0 and thought that he was super fast. We took them out on the highway after work one day and that was the last time I ever heard about how fast his truck was .
