Moved to the 3rd Gen Ram Section, the guys here will be able to give you more insight.

A well maintained Hemi will run up over 200k miles easy, but with any used vehicle, make sure you give the truck a good checking over. The powersteering is known to develop leaks, a rack and pinion replace will run about $600 at a good mechanic, or $900-1100 at a dealer. Make sure it's had it's regular service items checked, brakes, plugs, wires, filter, fluids. One of the more serious things to check for is a collapsed lifter, the sign for that is a loud ticking that matches the engine RPM. Those are the things I'd check for, being it's used and may not have the full service history, but if those items check out, that truck still has a lot of life left in her.

I'd be more worried about the tranny and the hvac blend/recirculate doors.

Mines a 05 with 112K on it. Runs good as new. I'v had no let downs with it. Right after I got it had to have the EGR valve changed and a t-stat. Other than normal maintenance stuff no major issues. I would take it to a mechanic that you trust and give it a once over. if you don't have a maintenance history have the mechanic look it over real good. You can tell about alot of things by just looking. Don't be too hasty and take your time checking it out. Good luck with it. Damn nice loking truck BTW.

My truck is at 150,000 plus miles so you will be good to go. Just remember every truck has its problems. And +1 on what pyro said.

126K miles, It is just a baby. with proper nursing and nuturing it will grow up to be a big boy some day. Nope not a 4wd.

Ill be honest with you though, I think the asking price is a touch high. around here at least, $9K will get you a 4x4 below 100K miles.

Infact I purchased my certified used W/ 8/80 warranty 05 ram 1500 hemi QC Big Horn w/4x4, Towpackage, 20" wheels, and only 26K miles for $11K straight from a dealership.

Same thing goes here. You can find better deals if you look to be honest.

My last truck was a 2002 Ram, and I got it for 5,800 with 80k miles on it. When I totaled it the shop retailed it in at 8,500 and I got 8,400 for it. So I made some nice profit, but yeah...Completely agree about the price.

Anything can go wrong. Not trying to scare you or anything but that's the way it is with every car/truck on the market. Some cars/trucks get the good damages and some get the bad damages that can be pricey to fix. Hell, sometimes people don't have any problems!

Truck looks in good condition, I'll say it's an iffy price since I also believe it is 2wd. If you take care of it, it will take care of you
