P0420 & warranty?
First post and it'a problem.
I bought a used '05 Ram1500 with the 4.7 V8 several months back. Everything appears stock. A month ago I got a P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold )
I cleared it and hoped for the best, but it came back last week and once again today. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.
I'm hoping it's a bad O2 sensor and not a bad cat. What are the chances I can get it done under warranty, I have 79k miles on it?
