alot of hatin on the lowered rigs. you guys are really gonna hate on the thread i start about my lowered 4X4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also fox isnt for offroad trucks! its for ppl that ride!
Man I love that thing! It's making me pretty jealous! How are the springs workin? I have a 4x4 and I plan on drop'in it 2/4.5 here around september or october. I think Ill go the mcgaughy's spindle route though , and replace my shocks, and throw on a sway bar. I still use my 4x4 for snow/rain/hauling, but the trucks handling is way too sloppy, and I have a damn hard time loading my 06 yamaha r6 in there as well. Props man!

I'm a new guy to the forum but really like the lowered look. I use my truck primarily to pull my drag car. I have had a number of trucks and this is my first Dodge. The ride on the highway (an maybe because I haven't had a truck for a couple of years) feels unsteady, kind of a little "top heavy" although the 20's do add a bunch to the unsprung weight................so lowering it should make driving on the highway feel more steady........plus I just like the look of a moderately lowered truck.
Here is a picture of a truck that in my mind is perfect. The owner used a McNaughty's 2/4 kit which was dropped spindles and flip kit, I like the idea of keeping the front springs.
IMHO

stewart.. just remember, you get what you pay for. and enro503, i used the factory spindles with only 2'' drop springs. it does wear on the tires a bit, so i would only recommend that route as a temporary thing. when i get back from iraq im gonna throw for some spindles like i shoulda in the first place. if you can afford it, or wait to afford it, i would do that...
