I have a 06 Ram with the base model stereo with factory Sat radio... I just talked sirius into giving me a free one month trial. The sat radio is working fine, I can hear all the stations. The only question I have is, does the factory radio display display anything other the channel number? Does it show the artist name and song title? Does it at least show the name of the channel? All I am getting is the channel number

 

Not that I have done alot of research on it but the stocker in my 08' only shows the channel number on both the regular radio as well as the Sirius.

I tried listening to the sat radio a few times and it is always cutting in and out. In the trees or under and kind of bridge it cuts out! I think it's a P.O.S. in my oppinion.

 

How the hell are you supposed to know what channel you are listening to? There are like 180 damn channels

 

Did they give you a monthly price quote? My neighbor told them that it was too much and they gave it to him for a year at half price.

I just got my 07 and it has sat radio, how do I find out the code to give them so that they can activate it? Never mind I found it!

 

i like it, just renewed for another year. My display shows the channel and channel number, but it doesnt show artist or song.

 

It shows you the station name? Is your stereo the same as a 2006?

 

I have no idea you have a pic of yours. Yes my radio shows the station name, if it didnt I wouldnt know which channel, I mainly use it for espn, and for my kids when they are in the truck. I usually stick with cds.

 

amanda doesnt think that sirius is worth getting, but i think that if i could get her to hear it for some time, she would like it...how are you guys getting these trial periods?

also, when i go to their site to find prices and such and try to sign up, it asks me for my sirius receiver number..what are you guys using for that number?
