i recently had a run of bad transmissions from the dealer. I had a noise, a moan, so the dealer said it was the trans. it was replaced under warranty. about 50miles after having it the pump went bad and leaked all over my driveway, the pump was replaced and about 500mi later the trans went, it was dragging on the hiway then would slingshot you then after that it totally went. I had no gears and 4 check engine codes for the trans, so back it went. They put another "new" trans in and on my second day home from work ( about 300mi) this one went BANG and the truck shut off!!! on the hi way!!!! wouldnt crank, nothing. Towed it to the dealer where they said the input shaft snapped and the cooler was clogged. Replaced it again and im afraid to drive it. Anyone ever hear of this or have any suggestions? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

damn, i might try a different dealer after all that, sounds like they werent doing every thing to specs....
