This morning I dropped the truck off with my preferred local detail/performance shop to have the truck detailed. I've been officially depressed the whole month of June because it's just been raining nonstop lmao. Anyways, it was good timing for the detail because I just debadged the tailgate and the doors yesterday, and there was a ton of glue left over, so they were able to wipe it clean. When I pulled in the truck looked fake, they did such a great job. All of them were complimenting the truck, and asking about some of the things I had done to it. Enjoy the pictures guys!

If you have the time, you should look into detailing on your own. It's a nice break from the mechanical side of crap and is pretty gratifying when done.

Just don't expect anything good off the shelf of Autozone and the like.

 

Probably because I always keep the darn thing clean all the time. I should get some digital shots so the detail can actually be justified lol. It was just really neat seeing it look like glass with all the emblems removed with the dark tails and smoked headlights. I still need to get my foglights tinted like the tails though to even the front out. It just feels good to have a newer truck. I loved my other truck, but it had a lot of problems from the previous owner. I just hit 30,000 miles and just put the new Toyo A/Ts on and got the detail, so I'd like to officially think the truck is mine now, love it.

 

looks good. i didn't like ur tint on the headlights but now its growing on me like crazy! i wanna do it to mine!

 

Thanks man! Well....I'd be lying to you if I said they were the same headlights, but I'm not going to do that to ya. After I had them tinted, I was going crazy how terrible they looked, like ****. So I had no choice and bought a set from headlights depot for $175. They just look a heck of a lot better with the smoked housing, cleaned it right up. Just need those foglights to match now.
