Arrow For gps users ...a must see

I just bought a new gps
its a garmin nuvi 885t

for you gps guys, or techno lovers out there, like me
you HAVE to look into this one
its really quiet amazing, it has just about everything you can imagine
packed into this little 4.9"W x 3.1"H x 3/4"D box

speech recognition
voice prompts.... it Speaks street names
3d mapping
lane assist
Auto re-routing
blue tooth
mp3
msn direct
weather, radar,.. forecast,..traffic alerts,..weather alerts,
restaurants,.. gas prices
fm transmitter....you can have the gps voice come through your stereo
big color screen.
it can even tell you what time your wifes flight is ariving at your local airport, so you can leave the bar in time lol
and shows you hotels,..atms.......etc..etc..etc

i really like this unit, the speech recognition is flawless
it has a small remote that straps to your wheel,, or in my case,
on the holy sh%t bar
and you just push a button and talk,
it is VERY easy to set up and use
the satellite reception is remarkably fast, and sensitive
the clarity and detail of the screen is great
it comes with a suction cup mount for your window, that works great
and the cradle that holds the gps is sturdy and snaps on and off easily

i have only had it for a week, but iv tried to put it thrugh its paces, and throw it a few curve *****, so far no complaints

here are a few pics

the main screen....just a copied pic

remote voice activator

this next few i took at night, so the screen is in ""night mode""
in the day time the screen turns white, and brighter..another great feature

garmin 8 series is a great gps the only downside is usually the price. I havn't sold them in awhile but I was in that when they first came out and the cheapest was like 800 on up to 1200 for them. they were super popular until the price came into play. but IMO worth the money if you are a big time traveler.

My son just got a gps for graduation so he can find his way to college and stuff.Cant remember the model off the top of my old fadeing brain, but it seems pretty cool.I have been looking into getting one for work cause im never in the same place more than a day or 2 and always out in nomans land. One question, does the garmin nuvi 885t tell ya where camp grounds are?I noticed my sons doesnt and beings we are always looking for different CGs to stay at i think it would be a handy feature. Not sure if its even a option on them. Can anyone tell me if it is?

I would have gone that route, but it's hard installing a 2 din head unit into a 1.5 din opening. Not to mention, they don't look that good on the 2nd gen rams.
