haha, i'd just drive it with armstrong power steering, did it before can do it again. has anyone just tried replacing it themselves instead of racking up a 300 dollar bill? mine hasn't gone out yet thankfully.

if dodge wont warranty it i will do it myself, no reason to have them do it when I can save myself some money doing it myself.

Talking update

Dodge is gonna warranty the power steering pump, should have the truck back by tomorrow. Now all I have to do is geta new tire since I burned off almost all of the tread. Anyone know the stock tire size fo 08's, i know its the ****ty wrangler hp tire, but I cant afford 4 new ones right now, so just gonna replace the one bad tire.

Keep your fingers crossed they do not point to your suspension changes.

Sounds like everything else common with a Dodge Ram.

Here's the current list, as gathered on dodgeforum.com:
  • LSD clips
  • PS pumps
  • Leaking PS racks
  • Electronic throttle issues
  • Windshield wipers that don't work right (my current favorite)
  • HVAC blend doors
  • Valve tap
Listen to yourselves guys. What's the point of buying a Ram? You can buy a truck from another Detroit company and won't have half the problems that Dodge's do.

yeah but they are not as sexy. As long as the dealers keep fixing my problems under warranty its ok, once the warranty is gone then we will see.
