Another BC boy here. I was up in harrison a few weeks ago and i had lots of west coast pin stripping from the trees. Since i have only owned the truck for a few months my wife was not happy. I did a little research and read that Quixx paint scratch remover was the best. I was very skeptical but i figured i would give it a try. I was very impressed with the results. It took off almost all of the scratches from the bush.

Trust me. This stuff works great.

Back in the day I bought a tube some stuff called GS27 Scratch remover from wal mart it was one of those "As Seen on TV" products, but unlike most of that crap this stuff actually worked! I'm not sure if they still sell it but I think I saw it there not too long ago in the same area as touch up paint and stuff. If you do find it you use a clean terry cloth and rub back and forth along the scrath in the same direction as the scratch. Then follow it up with some wax and you are good to go.
