so i pulled the orings and tried it, didnt fix it. and in the process i broke the halogen high off the bulb. they told me to push, well if i jam it in there it takes as much effort to pull it back out too. so i figured might as well try other stuff.
turns out it is the screw thats the problem. its an easy fix, just needs to be a little tighter so its recessed into the body. but in doing that, i tightened too much and cracked the ceramic holding the other halogen bulb. so, how bout sending me a set of 5k 9007 bulbs pro bono since i identified the problem?? and tightening them a little bit from the factory? that and the relays/harness and i should be golden.

last pic, that silver screw on the bulb side of the o ring. its only on the hid bulb, not the stock. but in tightening i broke one, so leave it to them. thats what i told them i thought the problem was to begin with, now i'm sittin on a broken bulb. though, if the countersnk that it fits into isnt deep enough tightening wont work.

If I didnt already have HIDs I would likely jump on this. I can tell anyone who is looking to get Bi-Xonon kits for Hi/Lo not to bother. I have never used my high beams. Never.
I wanted to offer an opposing view. I have bi-xenons in both my vehicles and use my high beams quite often. The amount of light from the low beam is great but the beam pattern isn't right for really dark roads, especially at high speed. I like being able to throw the light out further when I need it. One of my vehicles I off-road quite a bit so the high beams come in really handy coming back from the trails after dark. I personally think the bi-xenon or even the hi/lo with xenon low and halogen high are worth it.
