Default Question for all you ram guys

As the title says I've got a question for all you ram owners. More specifically the lifted trucks. I'm in the process of planning my new shop and I was just wondering how big of a door I wanted to put in. Anyone have any idea what the overall height on a ram lifted say 6 inches is? Don't need an exact measurement just an idea.

The shop that I use has a 15' bay door that most all of the trucks around here fit in haha. I'm pretty sure its a 15 footer at least...but I would think 10 to 12' would be enough to clear most rigs? I'm 6'2" and look barely look into my window with 6" lift and 35's...so you're thinkin about another 2' to clear my cab without worry.

You'd probably just wanna get something like a 15'+ door just so you don't have to worry about the height, especially when you start dealing with some of the larger trucks with over 6" of lift.

I have 5" of lift and mine is about 84" tall. Even more if you measure in the roof rack and lights.

You'd be fine with a 10' door. My truck with 6" lift and 35's is roughly 7' (give or take a few inches). You're lookin at some MASSIVE rigs if they cant fit through a 10' door...seriously... thats an additional 3' higher than the lifted Ram. No reason to go 15'.

agreed, 10 foot door at most. Even a 5500 would fit through that...

I fit in parking garages with 7'2" clearance, thats with a 6" and 35"s. Are you EVER going to need to fit a motorhome or anything like that in there though? if so then maybe 15' would be the way to go.
