I drive a standard so i never use the middle seat and ive been looking everywhere for a console sub box to no avail. i guess all the ones ive seen have been custom made. if anyone knows of anything please tell me.

but..back to your post...i havnt heard anything great about those boxes. you should go on ebay and theres a guy that makes boxes for quadcabs. i heard a guys truck who had it and the box really makes a huge difference. you should look into that and buying the subs and box seperately.

you will not be dissapointed. thats what i got and its great! im new but i will post pics soon

I am thinking of going with that style of box and 2 Boston Acoustic 10's, that should be good enough.

any setup that makes the owner happy is good... your idea is only good if you dont use the middle seat area as a seat. I mean if seating wasnt an issue in a quad cab, then why not just build a wall with 8 - 18" woofers and several Linear amps, a couple of extra batteries, a whole series of stiffening caps and forget about carrying any body in the rear altogether.

I have been an installer since I was 15 years old and now I am 36, I have installed alarms, stereos and aftermarket crap into more types of cars and trucks than I care to remember. I have driven damn near every make of vehicle made within the last 20 years, some that cost more than most of our homes. I will tell you from experience, whatever makes you happy is all you need and simple is always better! You put a speaker in a box built with the right airspace and you dont need 750 watts to make it boom, you can do it with as little as 100. Use a lower watt speaker and you dont need an amp that big to push it. A honda only needs a 4 cylinder engine to make it run good not a v8, but a big 4 door truck weighing 2 tons needs a v8 for power. All that 1000 watt JL is gonna due is suck alot more power. And power = money.

Spend your money how you want, but you'd be better off saving your bucks for the gas you'll use while jammin to your tunes...
