Default First (semi) major upgrade?

Hey guy, just got my new 1500 a few days ago. I'm already obsessed. I have big plans for her, my first one being to level it. Just curious if any of you guys are running on these 2" leveling spacers.?

If so, pretty easy to install? I've helped a buddy install coil spacers (had to compress the spring to put in the spacer) so this seems a bit easier. Anything else I need to know? I've been searching for a couple hours and I'm confused as hell if I should get new shocks? I have a 03 1500 4.7 2wd and to be honest, it'll probably never see any stressful driving besides the occasional dirt road and pothole. What do you guys suggest?

EDIT: Almost forgot pictures! Freshly Clay Bar'ed and Liquid Glass waxed.

IMO, go for a 2.5" spacer, a 2" wont completely level it, it will be nose down slighty still, with a 2.5" you actually get about .5" higher in the front, which I personally like that look....as for the shocks, yes, you will WANT to get new ones, not so much NEED, unless you like your tires coming off the ground when you hit bumps...

That is a nice looking truck you have there, right down to the can of dip on the center console . I like that color a lot, one of my favorites that they offered.

If you look at Dedogg's sig pic as well as Diturbedgators, you'll see what the look will be like. 2" kit you can skae on stock shocks. 2.5" you'll need new ones. Personally i hate the sagged *** look which 2.5" does give. Actually the 2" does as well but not as much. it only takes 1.5-1.75" to level these trucks out.

You said 2003. Do you have torsion bars??? if so, i would just crank them till your truck is level, get an alignment and call it a day!
