RPM Surging help... please answer asap
my rpms have been surgin for a while now at idle and i need some help as to things it might be. im off the next two days so if im going o fix it now would be a great time. thanks in advance
could be a number of things. clogged air filter, dirty throttle body, clogged fuel injectors, faulty throttle positioning sensor, faulty spark plugs, etc.
i would clean the air filter and throttle body first, and also run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner with next fill up. if none of that fixes it, it could be something a little more serious. start with the cheapest fix, and work your way up.

Clean the throttle body, make sure the Idle Air Valve is clear, run some injector cleaner through the next tank or so of gas. If that doesn't work, check your plugs and wires. I had a very similar problem, and a new set of plugs and wires cured it.
