might not b able to meet up with guys I was gonna down in indiana. may just go to anytrack within 4 hours that isn't wet...lol...and I took tonight off work too. I will drive toi iowa if I have to...as far west as needed to avoid the green masses on radar
so yea...got the night off and all...midwest was just a huge rainshower all day. We (a bunch of audizine ppl) were supposed to meet at route41 in morocco, indiana. That kinda changed, cause it was rain there all day. so, me and uncle were gonna go to union grove in wisconsin (1 hour north of us). we had it all planned out...cause the rain was supposed to clear up around 7...and their "wacky wednesday" (open racing) was from 5pm to 10pm. i left before him, got all the way to gurnee, illinois...then uncle calls me as he gets out of work saying he called and they were closed. so, i came home with a sadface...and had to put my tonneau back on, spare wheel,, tailgate...UGH.
they're trying to go next wednesday night again or sunday...both days which i work...but i will try and switch shifts with someone again if possible.
Hope the weather holds out for you next time! Good luck. If I go to the drag strip I'll take my Honda 1800 VTX bike. Imagine the old 440 Six-pack Mopar V8, then divide it by 4: my made in Ohio bike has 110 cubic inches, 106 horses and 120 ft./lbs. of torque. Stock. And it will outrun a Viper in the quarter mile.
actually going this sunday. all i want is a 16.999...and i'm hoping it's not to hot. back in the day my time differed by .5s between 65 and 85 degrees...SO, hopefully i'll get some runs through the night hours...
