Default how much CFM is enough

Good day to all, I was wondering how much cfm will be enough to keep my 3.7 cool in the summer months in florida. I want to get ride of my stock fan and put on an electric one.

I don't know, but I can tell you that the flex 180 is more than enough to get the job done. Moesperformance.com looks like they are getting ready to do a group buy soon on dodge talk so it's a good time to buy one. You can also do the junkyard fan for less, but it's more of a headache then just getting the flex 180 kit.

Yea the taurus fan is good for about half the cost of the flex a lite. I noticed that my truck revved quicker and got about 1.5 mpg out of it so it's a great mod for mpg alone. The only issue w/ the taurus fan is fabbing up brackets to mount it in the stock shroud which can be frustrating, if you get the flexalite mounting the fan will be much simpler.

I don't know for sure. I can tell you that 2200 cfm is not enough to cool my 4.7L when it is 90* outside and I have the air running. I bought mine from Ebay and didn't realize it wasn't strong enough. You might check and see what cfm the fan from a Nitro has. My daughter's 3.7 Nitro has an Efan...
