Just bought an 05 Ram Tuesday. It has the 4.7, 4x4, auto, leather, 20" wheels, quad cab. I decided to retire my old 97 Single cab cause my daughter (2nd child) was born Monday.

Anyway its in great shape except that the po put what appears to be a straight pipe on it to a resonator at the rear axle which splits to each side behind the wheels. The loud truck is nice but w/o a muffler, cat, and front resonator, I can't even hear myself think inside the cab during takeoff. I haven't had much time to look up under to see exactly what's their but tomorrow I'm gonna crawl under it and put some kind of muffler under it atleast as a temp fix. I had a flowmaster 40 on my 97 and it sounded great, but i don't want to have to wait on ordering one.
Any suggestions for a quick cheap fix from autozone to quiet things down.

I would say order a magnaflow. A muffler shop should have some in stock. Quick fix turn up the radio or ear plugs lol
