My opinion on the dual intake is that its useless unless you actualy extend it down on both sides where it sucks cool air. The ones that are really short suck hot air from the bottom side of the hood. I put mine where cold air comes in behind the headlight and made an air deflector to force air in there....

Do you notice a power gain of MPG, and how does it sound?

Size is going to vary depending on whether you use 3 or 4inch piping.

Mine was a 3in x 3in Rubber Coupling.

Ok,let me clarify,butch1581 used a 4X3 fernico. But you could go with a 3X3 coupler if you used a 3 inch sch 40 pvc pipe instead of 4 inch.It looks like he reduced back down to 3 inch so the 4 inch pvc inbetween is kinda not needed. Its what ever one wants to do.

I used 4 inch PVC for a while, and noticed a little hp increase and noise increase. I have since switched to a 3.5 inch steel pipe, and can tell you the steel transmits more noise than the plastic did. Not sure if there is an hp change, but definitely a noise change...
[edit] Butch1581, that looks pretty good...
