Default anyone had a problem with front bearing failure?

I have an 05 4x4 (see sig.) I recently noticed an occasional squealing noise. Within a week the left front bearing was shot. When I changed it it had about an inch of play either way on the edges of my 33 inch tires. It went from squealing to grinding very bad in about 10 miles. I found online that there was a recall on this in the 06 models. Mine only has 44k miles on it. Anyone else had this problem?

I replaced the bearing yesterday morning, everything is good now, but damn that was scary, felt like the wheel was going to fall off.

Same thing happen to my front driverside bearing on my 2002,
Noticed a Squeal for a very short while . Then quickly turned into a
grinding metal sound on sharp turns.. Wheel had the same 1" at least
of play.. And I also have the 20" wheels with 33inch tires...
