programmer-less = bad gas milage!
so my buddy had a Superchips programmer he wasnt using. he sold his truck, but still had the the prog. so he let me barrow it for a while. i was getting about 26-27 mpg around town... but just yesterday someone lit the fuse on his tampon and he insisted i return his programmer. so now i only get like 15-17 mpg around town now and it sucks!

I'll say it once more so you can understand better.

However, if you did see a drop, well then you get worse MPG's w/out a tuner, but you certainly aint gettin no 25mpg's. Hell, my old 4cyl Stratus wouldn't get that around town! Ohh and it was a 5spd
The best a superchips tune is going to give you is 1-2mpgs on the highway. And to tell the truth, the Mileage XS tune is ****. Didn't gain any mileage, but it definitely reigned in the engine. The best mileage I've pulled on my truck is 20.2mpg on a highway cruise at 70mph with the 91 perf tune on.
