ok so john took it to john at the dealer and when they had the truck on the dyno with the comp hooked up they found that the brake switch froze and shut the cruise off. i though that was bs since i never had the problem before. so i figured wtf i would go buy one since it was only 20bucks. still having the same problem. any last ideas?

 

Sounds like you have a bad PCM that is not responding to the commands that it is being given.

 

yea that's what i have been thinking. i think im going to go get one off a totaled truck and see how that works.
