I was just wondering for those who tinted their headlights with the "eyelids" or whatever you wanna call them....did you guys take it in and have it done somewhere? If so how much should i look to be paying? If you ordered something and did it yourself, where i can i buy it? Any info would help..i think they'd look good with my black truck

havent done the eyelids myself so i cant give you exact details, but from what i remember they took the headlight apart (ive done this myself and its really easy) they mask off the inside of the lens and paint the eyelid on and mask off the outside and paint that as well. sorry i dont have any more info for you but a few guys have recently done this and will be able to help a lot more

 

Im not an 2005 or that year headlight so you cant just get a fiberglass mold like mine but ive seen guys paint theirs! Mines in my sig

 

You could use black vinyl on the lens too.

 

How so?

 

Cut your own and slap it on.

 

or buy covers front and back like mine

 

I dont want the full covers though i just want the eyelids, i think i'm going to buy the paint and attempt it this weekend...
