Default programmer > TMR mod?

I drive a 2003 and from what i've researched that i wont really get much out of a diablo but i'm not 100% sure about the SC programmer. I did the TMR mod and love it, i can really feel the difference in my shifting but i want more power i just dont want to spend the money for half the availability that an 04+ gets with the programmer...Any suggestions on what to do?

What gears do you have bud?
If 3:55's or 3:92's, go for the 4:56's.
Apparently, that's the best bang for the buck you can get.
The other option is long tubes a good CAI and then a cam. But if you go that route, the 45-50 hp gains will be offset by a difficulty in tuning. Our 03's have crap PCM's, so are notoriously difficult to tune. A big cam with a lot of LSA throws codes at idle and we can't raise the RPM's at idle with the 03's to deal with this. It can be done though by choosing a slightly milder cam.
Save your superchips money and drop it on the gear change.
Al.

I have 3.92 in my truck right now, i've already done longtubes and a CAI and i just hear about everyone talking about how they get 20-40 hp gains from the programmer and it makes me jealousIf i were going to get a programmer, for those with an 03, what do you guys suggest?

They claim 20rwhp....between the shifting and the power gains it does feel like it. Course you guys in your bigger trucks won't feel it as much.

If I were you, I'd do an e-fan conversion and a new torque converter. I know that because it's my next set of eventual mods. They'll both make a noticeable difference in how the truck drives.

After that I'd do gears too, except with 4x4 it'll cost double, meaning $1500ish or more.

I have the old SC 3715 and I know there are newer models but I don't know if they do anything more than this one does.

It really is amazing how much faster a regular cab 2wd truck is too, almost like a Charger with a bed in back!

If you do an e-fan conversion, you're already setup to do a 6.1 top end conversion.
