Default RE: tsb and what to do.

Well this is my impression of the way things go.... As far as TSBs, dont fix it if it isnt broken... If your truck isnt experiencing that specific problem, dont fix it. I have heard getting a specific TSB fix may do the opposite if your truck wasnt having the problem to begin with. My dealer is very receptive, I have got 2 TSBs fixed. Here is the reason they have to fix it during ur warranty problem, its reinburseable under the warranty, so they get their money... I call them up and say i have a TSB for ........., and they always seem to be aware of it... However they did **** me off one time, because they are aware of all the TSBs, they have them... I brought my 04 in because the speakers we making sounds like they were blown periodically... brought it in, they didnt find anything... then later i found a TSB issued long before I bought my truck listing the problem with my specific stereo.....

Hope this helps

If the TSB applies to your truck then you should have it done, but be aware that it is only done for free if you are still in your 3 year/36000 mile warranty. if out of warranty it will cost you out of your pocket.
