Default Fastman Throttle Bodies

I've been hearin alot about these Fastman Throttle Bodies bein a good way to go. I'm wondering what gains people who have bought them have been seeing (i.e. MPG, HP, TQ, etc.). Let's here what you got!

I personally haven't tried one, but from what's been written in the forums previously, nobody's had much good to say about them in general. Maybe somebody's tried this specific one. Most of the comments have been that they are a waste of money, and they can't tell any difference. But then again, that seems to be the story on most mods for the Hemi at least...doesn't seem like there's much bang for the buck in aftermarket stuff.

Well, I've heard alot of complaints about throttle SPACERS but I've heard some good things about new throttle BODIES. I checked out the fastman website and they don't make on for the HEMI. I've emailed the guy but have not gotten a return yet.

I don't have any numbers for you, but I have one on both the 5.9L and the 5.2L and they were the single most noticable gains I've done to each. The 5.2L had only an exhaust mod yet the new TB improved SO much... the 5.9 had MANY mods and still the Fastman TB was a tremendous boost. I've met the Fastman and he is a true Dodge lover with a passion for doing what's best for our engines. I HIGHLY recommend the Fastman TB.

Despite what mill500 says, EVERYONE has good things to say about them, I've never heard a bad word after one's been installed. See this thread:

Or these:

Just to list a few...

Viper, as I mentioned before, I took off the tailgate and, until I get the time and decision of what tonneau cover I want, I am finding a marked improvement in mileage...from 12 to 15 in my usual driving.... and that amazes me a lot... years ago I had a constr. business and had 3 dakota's with the v-6 eng.. and took the gates of them and it did about the same in increase mileage...I also have a Flo- installed after the Y pipe and its a help, I assume.....so try it and let me know, you may be surprised.....I was.......GUIDO

I got the Truxedo LoProfile and am really happy with it. Definately not the cheapest one out there, but good quality. They also have colors, but order a piece of sample fabric first...I've got the Graphite paint and the gray one they have was about 2 shades too light. Wasn't a big deal to change, just go to an automotive paint store and have them mix up some vinyl paint to match the exterior, and a perfect match.
