Well some will, some will not, depends on how bad they wanna move trucks, I'll offer fairly, but I will be paying straight cash... Out here I could walk from a dealership for that, but re-stating my last statement, I would rather be shot.

If it's somewhere you go often then thats not so bad. I wouldn't buy a horse sight unseen. Same goes with a truck! lol

But it is a little pricey. You could always go look and make an offer. Worse they can do is say no. But you said you were paying cash. That's always a plus.

It looks clean, but like the others have said that price is way to high, that be like buying it new. If they were to drop the price down to the $16k - $18k mark it be a little more reasonable I would think.

Yeah - if I were financing it I would accept 20-21k - but Im paying cash outright AND having some work done in the same dealership shop before I drive her off the lot, so they are going to make some good money from me.

Idk, depending on the dealer, if you go near the end of the month and say your paying cash you can get big discount. I had 5K knocked off my truck when i bought it.

They would make more money off you if you were paying them 10%+ in interest. Find a truck thats closer than 700 miles because if something happens to the truck you wont even be able to take it to the dealership to get fixed. With the economy the way it is you should be paying NO more than 19k for that truck

That's a $17,500 truck tops, and you should know that as well as I do...

Dealers were unloading NEW '08 QCSB Hemi 4x4s for $22-23k when the '09s started hitting the lots, so what they want for that truck, is way out of whack!!!

No, not really bigmiah, THEY is not the dealership. Chrysler is not financing vehicles right now, so financing, even if arranged at the dealer, would be through a local bank. The dealer will not profit any more from financing as opposed to getting paid in cash. Times have changed...

yup, and it sounds like she knows it.

you're on the right path cow chick. walk in there with ads for similar trucks that are much cheaper, and $15k cash. then tell them you'll be getting some work done too. let them work you up a little from ther.

you should be able to bag that truck for 16.5 or 17. and if not, walk away. It aint worth any more.
