Lift, defiantly. I just haven't been able to decide on how much yet.

 

The center wood bezel is actually attached to the silver center dash. You have to remove the whole thing. Since you have a quad cab, i don't know if you have the screws or not, but they should be above the cup holders if you do. I think only flip down cup holders had screws, not 100% sure. Other than that the whole thing just pulls off. Start in the top left corner closest to the gauges and work your way around. It's snapped in pretty tight. I'm trying to find the removal picture.

This is what it would look like, I'll try to get the instruction picture.
