Default traction control...?

i have a 05 1500 hemi and i can swear it has TC, i just want to clarify. theres this one turn i love to try and drift around, ill get to a certain point and just hammer it. the rear will kick out and start to slide but then the power derates, the transmission shifts and it catches traction....all while my foot is on the floor

Nope, it's called torque management, when it shifts, it pulls power to keep the tranny alive. This is when you gain traction.

It's called ESP... push the button on the dash to turn it off when you don't want it.
