Default Synthetic or non synthetic engine oil, that is the question?

Well the good news is I've just paid for my truck, now I'd like to keep it running for a lot longer. What engine oil are u guys using? I have 60,000 miles on a 2003 sport ext cab 4.7.
I have been changing my oil and filter every 3,000 but on my last change I switched to a synthetic engine oil, at the same time changing the diff and transmission over to synthetic.
What do think? should I just switch back to non synthetic.
Cheers.

And FG says that because we ALL know there are a thousand plus one threads on this same subject and all have been beaten to death over and over.

What I use is all in my sig. Why would you NOT want to use Synth?

I was going to switch the wifes Liberty to Synthetic but the Chrysler dealer only uses Kendall. He said he could get Mobile 1 but I didn't want to wait. Anybody have any feedback on Kendall? Also I see Lucas sells a synthetic. But I never hear anything about it either. They make a lot of other performance products. I have a 2008 4.7 Ram that I changed at 1100 mile and the next change I plan on going to Mobil 1 or Lucas if I can find out anything about it.
